Our trip to Greece - 1990

The Plaka in Athens. I love how the rug merchant displayed his wares right there on the steps outside. I felt so at home here. The people were warm and friendly and full of life. Is this a tourist picture, or what? It was the dream of a lifetime to be at the Parthenon. It was being restored at the time and all the pieces were numbered like a puzzle.
